Your body knows your story.
Updated: Sep 23
Listening to your body means giving it the space to release what was never allowed to be expressed.
You may have already found words for what you’re going through, analyzed it, understood it…
And yet, your body keeps reacting. As if, on the surface, everything seemed fine, but deep inside something remained frozen.
What if it wasn’t a problem to be “understood,” but a memory your body hasn’t yet released?
When the mind is no longer enough
For more than twenty years, trauma neuroscience has confirmed one essential truth: understanding is not always enough to release.
« Trauma is not in the event, but in the body that holds it. »
— Peter Levine
The nervous system, shaped by shock or repeated stress, doesn’t reset simply because we’ve “understood.” The mind says “everything is fine”, but the body keeps expressing something else: constant vigilance, freeze, fatigue, or recurring reactions with no clear reason.
The body, a living memory of our experiences
As early as the 1930s, Wilhelm Reich, physician and psychoanalyst, showed that the body holds the traces of what it has endured. He spoke of “armoring”: chronic tensions formed to contain what could not be expressed.
Later, Alexander Lowen, founder of Bioenergetics, demonstrated that our breath, posture, and gestures reveal our emotional history. For him, words alone are not enough : the emotion must be able to move through the body.
Today, research continues to confirm these discoveries:
Peter Levine shows that trauma does not live only in memories, but in the body.
Stephen Porges, with the polyvagal theory, demonstrates that our autonomic nervous system not only regulates survival reflexes (fight, flight, freeze), but also our ability to feel safe and connected with others.
All of this research leads to the same evidence: blockages, tensions, and automatic reactions are the traces of incomplete experiences. To release them, the body need to feel, move through, and let go, within a safe space.
Somavibrational™: release through the body and the Subtle
My approach was born from my own journey. Even before discovering the work of Reich, Lowen, or Levine, my body was already experiencing what they described.
It was through moving through my own emotional burdens, through breath, movement, and vibration, that the transformation began. Not by trying to understand everything, but by allowing the body to feel and release what had remained unresolved.
Over time, I structured this process and enriched it with my mediumistic and energetic sensitivity. This is how the Somavibrational™ method was born, an approach that combines listening to bodily sensations with listening to the subtle.
During the session, I tune into what is manifesting in your body, as well as what I may perceive through my extrasensory abilities: sensations, images, emotions, or subtle information that may bring another perspective to what you are experiencing.
It is not “in your head”
If you feel a blockage that you cannot explain, but your body expresses it through your throat, stomach, chest, or breath, these sensations may reveal what is happening on a deeper level within you.
A memory seeking to be heard.
The body knows… it has always known.
The body and the subtle become gateways to a deeper understanding of your feelings and your blocks.
